Question Doesn't feel the same?

I'm putting my engine back in and having the memory that I have. I have forgotten the exact routing of the throttle cable. Where I have it right now, it just doesn't feel the same. Binding a bit possibly. I've got the return spring in place but it feels like it doesnt want to retract properly. How was it routed from the firewall up through the tin? It's a 1.7 D-Jet.

Comes up from the firewall then up through the small hole on the right side cooling tin in front of the heater tube cut-out and over to the plenumn.
