FI Problem
Its the fuel pump, it wont come on. I have installed a known good fuel pump, checked the relays but I am not getting power to the fuel pump. What could it be? Any and all valid suggestions will be checked. Help me here, the club board seems to be having problems.

You probably already did this but maybe fuse on relay board???

Check out Brad Anders FP page Scott...

The front page looks great but doesnt go any further. So that is not going to help me much. Allen, Of course I checked all the fuses. Anymore ideas? I hooked up power to the FP and it started. I found a leak in an injector on the drivers side so I shut it off. The car does run. I have everything to make it good, I just need a little direction.

Bummer. We'll have to ping Brad about getting his flowcharts working again.
A different take at the diagnosis (in text form) can be found here: http://www.914fan.net/fuelpump.html --DD |
Are you getting the fuel pump to run right when you turn the key? Relay board is what I would check. I am sure you have a spare around, or pull from another car for a quick test.

Yup, got spares. I will screw with it tomorrow. I hooked up power to the fuel pump and it started right up but there is a leak from the injector on number 1.

Brads page works for me...? http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/...boldyellow.gif

It was a browser problem. I had to open it with IE instead of Moz.

Ick! IE??
I do know that it worked for me under an earlier version of Netscape quite a few years back... --DD |
