Depends on lots of factors. Which flares, how they are installed, the exact wheels, and on and on and on.
Chances are excellent that 15x8 Fuchs will fit under GT flares (essentially the same as 916 flares), but in some rare cases they may not. --DD

I think these are GT racing GT flares. I know you have to check every car they are all a little different.
Thanks, Phil |

Re: 916 flare question
Quote:
the factory ran 7" and 8" wheels with 1" spacers as the standard on the GTs, as an option, you could also run 8" in the front with 245/45 x 15 and 9" in the rear with 285/40 x 15 wheels and tires. which is the max. for a GT/916 flare. btw. 285/40 tires for 15" or 16" wheels are unobtanium these days, so this is not really an option anymore ... then, there was also the option of 9" and 11" GT flares. i have never seen a factory GT racecar actually run those, but they are listed in the original GT parts brochure, so they were available back then (in metal!) ... you could run up to 345/35 in the rear with those ... ![]()
