Fuel tank question
I removed both of the metal pipes at the bottom of the gas tank to clean the tank. The smaller diam. pipe needs to be blocked due to my engine conversion. Everything was so nasty, I couldn't tell what type of washer or whatever is needed to keep them leak proof. Also, Is there a threaded cap out there that can be used to totally seal one of the openings off? Thanks

you may be able to find a copper pipe fitting that you can sweat on.

or crimp the tube/fitting you removed, braze it shut and reinstall it.
