Rough going at 1000-2000 rpm
Well the bad injector was replaced, along with fuel lines and the fuel filter. Car idles at 1000rpm nicely, but hesitates in the 1000-2000 rpm range, that is unless I'm stomping on the gas. At 3000 rpm and above the car runs well.
I noticed that the fuel pump was sounding a little loud, and expect that to be the next thing I'll have to replace, but would that account for rough running in the 1k-2k rpm range? Also I noticed that my front end is sitting higer then the back end of the car. I know where the adjusters for this are, but is there a way to tell where it should be set at? Thanks all! |

Wow.....You have the same problem as I do at the moment. My car was running great until I spun it out over the weekend. Now it is running like yours. Check all hoses, and electrical connections. Almost sound like a worn throttle position sensor.

The car "should" have a nose-high attitude to comply with 1970s US bumper-height laws.
I prefer a car that is level, or maybe has a little nose-down attitude. (Just a little, if any.) Set it up how you like it, and be happy. ![]() --DD
