Be careful with Ottos web site.

I ordered some parts a while back and after a month I had to contact THEM to find out the parts were NLA.

Second time I ordered the same thing happened but this time the parts were availible for $430 (the email sated their price was $380 plus "we have to make $50 over that." The advertised price? $170. Their explination, "our price has gone up on that part and as you well know we can't sell it at that price." Right, that makes sense I'm the one who should KNOW what the prices of THEIR bloody parts. Considering the site was only 6-months old at the time I mistakenly expected their prices and availibility to be correct. Silly me.

BTW I gave up on them and they have not contacted me, so take my opinion with a grain of venom, I mean salt.

I deal with John @ Ottos too and have been very pleased; however, I have not used their site or email. The shop (John W.) doesn't seem fully "e-commerce" ready IMHO (he kind of told me he is not very fond of computers...) but they do know their 914 stuff, for sure. Also have a bunch of 914 parts and donor cars on hand. Good luck,
