What's the trick...
What's the method for changing the rear trunk rollers to metal. Is there an easy way to relieve the pressure from the spring/roller connection?

I made a special tool by taking a craftsman breaker bar and cutting a slot in the side of the hole for hanging it on a hook. You then put the spring though the slot you cut in to the hole, and use it as a lever to bend the spring around. Works great.

I used a nut driver (looks like a screwdriver with a 1/4" socket on the end). Slip the socket over the end of the trunk spring and use the handle as a lever to take tension off the roller. Put some lithium grease on the rod that the roller rotates on and then install the new metal roller. Using a helper makes for a safer procedure.
