Cool photo of 914 type 4 case

Can anyone post a photo of where should one drill and tap to replug the oil galleries during an engine rebuild. Photos with arrows pointing to the spots on the case halves would be perfect. Thanks. I intend to buy the pipe plug kit from Raby but don't know where to look before I make the mods.

Enjoy

Those are aluminum plugs, which is what I reccomend because of expansion. Make sure to drill and tap all the way and clean the **** out of the case. You dont want any metal shavings... especially in the oil galleys. You can use gun brushes to clean out the oil galleys. They work really well.

Thanks Matt,
The first photo is a bit hard to follow (but the locations are colored by blue caps?) and are they repeated in the last photo? Also do you know if the Raby kit are steel or aluminum and does it include the right taps? Also it would be appreciated if you can send me the source for those aluminum plugs you show in the photos.
