Engine Picture Needed

There is a really nice picture of a 2.0 engine in the archives. Really shows vacuum hose etc layout nicely.

Question is... Does anyone have a similar picture for a 1.7????

Really need to figure hose connections as the DAPO had all of them disconnected.

Especially need to see the hose connections to the air filter housing.

Not of the 1.7 that I know of...

I don't have access to a 1.7 any more so I can't make drawings like I did the 2.0. As I recall from the last time I messed with one, though, there were a lot of things plugged in pretty close to each other so the diagram might get a little crowded.

Okay I hate to say this, but the plug wires are all in the wrong places. There was a clip at one tile that allowed 1 / 2 to go towards the flywheel side of the oil breather stand. Then they droped down onto the engine tin.

Don't fell bad my 2.0L engine has about the same plug wire mess, right now. There are just to many hoses on a D-jet car. Need to save my coin and get my SDS system.

Ok guys lots of trial and error... I think I have it.

Engine runs pretty well... so I think I have everything in the right place.

As soon as I have everything in the right place (I think) I will post a picture and try to label everything so that someone else does not have to go through this.

Not to be mean but that diagram pretty much sucks.

The haynes manual is more useful than that thing.

I hope to put together a *real* reference tool.

The early 1.7s did not have some of the components that the later ones did. I've been wanting to put together a ~72 1.7 diagram for a while, but I don't have access to one of those cars any more.
