What is the difference between the distributors
1- 022-905-205E and 2- 039-905-205A I know they go to different model year and engine size. I would like to know how they operate differently. For example: Do they both have vacuum advance cans attached? How does the advance operate? If they are both equal, why did they make the 039? Thanks ------------------ Ralf Hartmann |

Hi, Ralf!
They should both have vacuum cannisters--all 914 distributors did. (With the possible exception of the European 1.8 version.) The advance should work in the same way, but the specs are a little bit different. Check http://www.dgi.net/914/tech/distrib.html for details on the specs of at least some of the 914 distributors. --DD |
