Post i.d. these parts

I recently succomed to the 914 lure and bought a 72 1.7 81K miles still with original FI, Appearance package, stainless rocker panel covers, and a bunch of other good stuff. Can any one identify a muffler with a flared out tail pipe? Kinda loud and cool sounding. Also a plastic center counsol with an armrest, bin built in. The counsol is sort of mushroom shaped with enough room for 3 guages horizontally across the top. Any body have any info about that? So far I ve been enjoying the 914, love the ride with my new springs and shocks and struts. Also love the looks from the little girls riding in passing by back seats.
thanks , you guys are the best source of info.

No idea on the muffler. The console is aftermarket. Someone off this BBS, I think, sent me some scans of an original ad for it (and a few other accessories).

See below for image. May take a little while to download.

Search the archives for a thread entitled "help me identify this exhaust system" dated 11-25-2000. Dave downloaded 7-8 photos of different exhausts.

Maybe yours is in there?
