Remote oil filter location
I am full flowing my oil system. Therefore, I will be remotely mounting the oil filter. Anybody got any good pics of where they have relocated there filters? I need some ideas.

The type IV engine is already a full flow oil system; all of the oil goes through the filter unless there is a filter obstruction, then it will cycle through a bypass. If you're looking to just use a remote filter, there is a remote oil cooler article in the tech articles that describes adding a remote filter as part of that process:

The type 4 is not totally full flow. There is a pressure relief in the oil filter mount as you mentioned. Under high pressure, the oil is not 100 percent filtered. Also the passages from the pump to the filter mount are less than desirable. I am coming off the front cover of the oil pump to feed the filter. I already have an external cooler in place of the stock cooler. I comes off the block at the stock location. Thanks for the response. I will check out the link.
