Question Fuel Injector bench check

Howdy all,
I'm a new owner of a basket case 914 and i'm in the process of going through the fuel injection system. I've removed the fuel injectors and would like to bench check them before they're reinstalled. I am aware of the fuel injection tech article on this site and the technique used to flow test the injectors while they're on the vehicle, but would rather test each injector individually first. I would like to know how many volts are needed to actuate them and which terminal is positive. Has anyone done this before? I did a seach and came up empty handed. Thanks

Check at the Website of All D-jet Knowledge:

I think it requires about 5V to open them, and 3V to hold them open. But I'm not certain. I do know the analog circuitry is pretty noisy and "rings" quite a bit. But Brad Anders has something on his site about the appropriate voltages.
