Post pics from D&G's meet 5/6/01

Pics are online. Nothing special, partly cuz I got there kinda late and some folks had already bailed.

Got a few shots of Jeff's turbo install and very cool custom dash. Also a sweet real/6 with a 3.2 transplant, and a fairly recent V8 conversion that's shaping up nicely.

You can also check out what I think is the nastiest 914 I've ever seen. The cars that are sawz-alled out here are usually much better than this one. (Sorry if it belongs to somebody on the list, but it really is a
piece of work!)

Another gorgeous So Cal day made better by 914s...

Chris,

The pics are cool. I'd be willing to drive out from Phoenix next year - assuming my '74 2.0 is done by then.

By the way, I checked out the pics of your '73 Revina. What a color huh? My first thought when I saw that color - Why would anyone want to drive a car THAT color?

Then I went out and bought a '74 2.0L that color! I love it.

Someone has to add some color to the dreary grey, blue, silver, tan cars out there - right!

Drop me an email (rodrigos6@juno.com) with some details about your setup.

Regards,

Gerard

Eat-em-up: this is not an annual event, it's more like 3 times a year. Usually held in the San Bernadino (So Cal) area.

Don Haney from Pelican Parts is the "Don" in the "Don & Glenn"...the details and locations are always posted on this board and the other 914 boards prior to the event.

Looks great! We just had our first Cincinnati Northern Kentucky 914 picnic saturday. It was great to finally meat some more 914 people. I would sugest more people do it!! We only had four cars show, but they were all high quality, including a original 70 914-6! Nice to see that a few 914 outlasted the salt here in the rust belt.

Don't forget that the East Coast Ramble is coming up in September! It's in mid-state NY, about equally far from everything.

And the next Mid-US Ramble is probably going to be not long after that...
