Need Assistance from a Forum Member in SF Bay Area
Looking for a fellow forum member in the SF Bay Area (or even better in San Francisco) to help walk me through dropping a 914 engine and tranny. I've read all the great guides on Pelican Parts and other sites, but having never done it before, it would be great to have someone with more experience help me the first time around. I'd be more than willing to pay you for your time, buy ya a beer, etc...
Thanks, Steve |

When were you wanting to do this? We may be able to throw together an "engine drop party" by posting to the various email lists and BBSes and such...

Hi Dave,
Within the next month would be great for me. I could offer up my car as the "guinea pig". Steve |

Guinea pig? Naaah--the whole point would be to help a local 914'er do an engine drop!
Just make sure you've got tools (jack stands a'plenty! ) and brews and burgers. That's usually enough to get a few people by.If you've got a place you can work on your car up in the City, you're doing better than most people up there!! --DD
