question for mr. raby

what is the approx horsepower and torque for the 2270?

thanks

Sir,
The 2270 in various stages of tune has nmade between 145 and 165 HP, and 150-170lb/ft of torque.....Most of our street engines put out 155 HP..

The Torque is really what is felt with this engine, as the stroke pulls like crazy in a 914..

hmmm that sounds awesome
i am thinking of using dual webers 40idf

what is the approx stock torque on a 2.0

seems as if your kit adds a lot of torque

any other feedback?

40 Webers, just won't feed it....

The least you will be able to use is 44 Webers, but prefferably 45 Dells...

Stock torque for a US-spec 2.0 is 105 lb-ft. Torque spec for a stock Euro-spec 2.0 is 108 lb-ft.

Can the 2.0 D-Jet be tweaked to work on the 2270?

Man, Jake. You really like to tempt people don't you. I am tempted to get rid of my freshly rebuilt 2.0 liter with FI for your 2270 motor. Plus, I can come up and get it from you since I live in Atlanta. How much is a 2270 motor without induction or exhaust? I have Dell 40's...what would be needed to make them 45's? I would imagine different velocity stacks, different jets, etc...

Paul
