When I took the tank out say 8- to 10 yrs ago I looked in the tank it looked OK How bad is this? (sender said I had a 1/4 tank)



Then again the oulets leave a bit to be desired:



Hmmm, how often does one replace this?



Guess it wasnt the pump after all.

OK, a quick search shows that this filter may be a bit elusive...any suggestions?

Ok new strainer in hand $8.50 CDN from the dealer, I can live with that.



NPC: I told my wife I had to get more parts for the 914.

She replies "How much?" (my last purchase was 4 sport konis with adjustable perches and springs. $$$)

I say "850".

Wife: "Ok, I dont feel so bad spending $150.00 on shoes yesterday"

Me, " Thats eight dollars, Honey!" Dont feel so bad now do ya! "I'll be in the garage."

Finally the teener comes out on top!
My wife has been very understanding, though she really doesnt like riding with me.
