What does the brush stroke of color on factory springs mean?
What does the brush stroke of color on factory 914 springs mean?
Is there a chart somewhere? Do different colors mean they are for a 914-6 or something? Thanks S.Chapman |

The springs were coded in three groups of spring rate with 1, 2 or 3 stripes. This was to fine tune the springs so you would get a matching set. No big deal. Not applicable to used springs 5 years old.
