where is the fuel filter located?

lost my manual, internet search is unsuccessful. ugh. bad start to a good saturday.....

where is the fuel filter located on the '73 914 1.7?

If it has not been moved by some P.O., look up from under the car. At the right-front corner of the engine bay, near where the heater hose goes into the car's body, you should find the pump.

If the pump has been moved, look around in the steering rack compartment.
