The brown wire off of terminal 85 on the big black relay under the battery comes out of the harness with the oilpressure wire (green/orange). Where does this wire go?
This is a 75 1.8 l jet motor bone stock as far as I know. |

Solid brown usually means ground, I think. At least on the 1.8.

Brown means ground on almost all German cars that have original, unmolested wiring.
The L-jet EFI wiring diagram at http://www.pelicanparts.com/914/parts/Electrical/914_electric_74_AFC-B.jpg doesn't show a brown wire coming off of the dual relay.
