Question GT flared 914-what size wheels?

I am in the process of welding on the GT flares on my 75 chassis. I will also be adding a 911 engine size unknown at this point. I also have a 83SC with 2 sets of wheels. I have Fuchs in 16x7 and 16x8 and Borbets in 17x7.5 and 17x9 that I switch back and forth. I like the Fuchs for the looks, strength and weight but the Borbets offer more tire selection being 17's. So my question is with the 914 being more neutral in weight balance front to rear what size rims are you guys running with flares? Do you want more rim/tire width in the rear like a 911? Or do you run sizes closer to being the same front and rear? The 914 is in the process of converting to 911 5 bolt lug pattern front and rear.

Dito.

Ya just have to figure what spacers you are going to need.

Every car is different. You will need to add the flares and THEN see what spacing works.

I have 8s and 8s. 9s would be best for the rear of my car.
Just saving bucks for 9s. I will get there eventually.

Are you guys running 911 early offset wheels ( 74-88 ) or late offset ( 89 and up ) ?
