Talking Parts car

Okay, I have just purchased my 3rd '73 2.0 in the last month. The latest addition is going to be turned into a parts car as it has tree to bumper syndrome in the front. Other than that the car has sat in a barn for the last several years and is very clean and complete. Once I get all the parts off I think I am going to need to complete my other two cars, I will be selling the rest. So check back to see what kind of original goodies I have available.

I need a NOS blinker fluid reservoir. Black if possible.

The guys at Rennlist say I need one.

I need a complete fuel injection system for a 73 2.0 to replace this half-a** carb job.

Please, if you have it complete let me know how much.

Okay folks, the parts car has been completely dismantled and stripped so the parts are becoming available for sale now. As soon as I get an inventory and pick out what I want, I will try and post a list of parts. If you need something in particular just let me know. The seat release handles have already been given away.

I don't have pictures right now, but I could take some. It's a pair of Delorto carbs. It's not that the carbs were put in badly, but it was done without a modified cam. It looks great, but it just runs terribly.

I've had it professionally looked at and tuned, and it's still sluggish, occasionally backfiring, and overall loud and obnoxious.

It chugs and spurts anywhere between idle and flat open, although admitedly, at both extremes, it runs great.

I just want the fuel injection back.

Will the carbs and intake work on a 1.7? I've got the modified cam, and bigger pistons... It just doesn't appear to have enough stuff there to make the F.I. work.

I'm not sure. I don't know enough about the various setups of 914s to answer that. I'm only familiar with my own.

Unless the Dells are horribly oversized, you should be able to set them up for a 1.7 motor. But it will take some setting up to do!

What size are the Dells? 40s? 45s? Smaller?

Sorry about hijacking your thread... but...

The ECU from my car is numbered 0 280 000 037; if my whole E.F.I. setup is here, will it work on a 2.0?

(it's starting to look like I've got the whole setup)

Hey, I need the injection system!

I would also love a complete Sideshifter transmission, as I currently have a tail shifter. (my 73 2.0L engine sits in a 72 car)
