Noobie saying hello
Well hello everyone I'm new to Porsche's just bought a 74 914 2.0L in need of some TLC. Since it's a secondary car I'm going to be going through and restoring it to it's original condition with some minor mod's. First off I'm going to go through the brake system rebuild it to stock except for a 19mm master so it will roll around the shop nicely. Then I'm going to drop the engine and tranny and repair some rust inside the engine bay (battery tray) and while that's all out install the body reinforcement kit. Well anyways just wanted to say Hi and I hope to learn much in this forum.

Think twice about a 19mm MC without increasing the internal volume of the brake system as well, to keep the balance. There are a couple of good tech articles here on this website to explain.
Welcome to 914 land! |
