How are the rockers held on?
Maybe it should be obvious. I pulled one bolt out, but the thing is not budging.

Are we talking rocker panels on the side of the car or valve rockers?

Tree bolts or screws along the bottom. Removing them will let you swing the bottom of the rocker out so you can clean out the crud that gets trapped behind it--very strongly recommended!! And a bunch of rivets along the top, as was mentioned.

spray with PB blaster or equivalent and let percolate day or two before attempting. Needed impact driver to get one screw out, and it was not rusty at all under there.

I'll try to rip one off this weekend. I haven't drilled any rivets out. My right side has rust holes in the usual spot.
