Mystery wires--please help identify

I am having no luck identifying these with my wiring diagram. The wires with the plug on them travel towards the rear of the car via the tunnel. From the plug is a blue wire that goes to the dash. The wire that is bunched up with the tape around it is lime green in color. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Pete

What year/engine combination is the car? (If you know it, what was the engine originally in the car?) It doesn't look very familiar, so I am tempted to call it aftermarket--but I don't really know enough to say...

Dave, the car is a 74 and originally had a 1800 in it. Could they be AC? I can't remember ---was AC a factory option or did dealers install ac? Car did have the front trunk cut out under spare. I have put a Chevy V6 in the car and I would like to make the wires go away, but hesitate for obvious reasons. The car is up and running, so at least they are not needed for the engine. Thanks

Those wires were for the Air Conditioner, the one with 6 pins plug in the under dash unit, the ones
tape up went to the AC clutch.
