914 project car or parts car??

Hey guys i found a guy that has 2 914's he said he would sell one for 5k and the other for 800 bucks so i went to check out this 800 dollar one and its got some issues that i thought i should ask you guys before i bought it.

My first concern is that the windshield has been busted out of it the floors dont look all that bad i didnt see any rust or holes or anything. Also on the driver fender some kind of tree/bush thing has grown THROUGH the top of th fender??? It has rust on the rear panel and right infront of the tail lights as well here are some pics

Sorry for the really bad pics. What do u guys think? Is it worth 800 dollars for a project? Or would i be better off leaving it for a parts car?

Parts car. if it has been sitting long enough for stuff to grow through the fenders, you can bet that the floor board and longs are rotted through.

Garage
It is worth the price of the trim pieces only.
If that is an early rear bumper on there I would grab it

Certainly not a project.
Where are you?
Methinks the northeast

The interior looks far nicer than mine. The mice seem to like it.
