Here is a "real" rookie question: How hard is it to remove the body from the frame? I've seen numerous pictures of cars in this state but have never seen the process discussed.

Sorry, there is no frame on a 914. What are you trying to accomplish?

You remove the suspension and everything else from the body shell. I bet its a lot easier than most other cars.

SAWZALL !!!
![]() Seriously, it's a unibody car. There is no "frame" or "body" to speak of. You basically have to cut metal and drill welds if you really want to get the sheet metal off. [This message has been edited by campbellcj (edited 09-02-2001).] |
