My engine was frozen, so I used alot of marvel, and I eventually rocked it free. Now it is stuck again, and I CANNOT rock it loose. Inordere to get oil into the cylinder, do I just keep pouring it down the spark plug hole? Is there anything else that I could do besides dropping the engine, because I cannot do that in my garage. Would it help to heat up the oil?

Uh oh. You're positive its the engine?
If so, I really doubt that it could seize up tight after having it freely turn recently unless you've created 'hydro lock' or had something mechanical go badly amiss and jam things. There's a recent post on 'Clockwise vs CC rotation' you might read on end play and cam gear bolts, and if its 'hydro-lock' you would solve the problem by removing all the plugs and trying to rotate it. Hopefully someone with more experience might have some suggestions. My seized engine had cracked rings after it was freed, so a teardown may be in your future anyway. Good luck. Hi,
I have noticed that you posted your difficulties with your frozen engine before, and I am aware that you are looking for a different answer... ... Nevertheless I think it might be best to remove the engine from the car and diassemble it at least partially. Chances are that by trying to free the engine you might cause other damage. I also agree with Dave that there is a good chance that you will have to replace rings, pistons, and cylinders after all, since they most likely have suffered from rust. Removing the engine and transmission from the car will take you not more than 4-5 h (the first time you do it) and it can be easily done in a small garage or a driveway... ------------------ '74 Porsche 914 2.0l '90 VW Vanagon 1.7l Diesel [This message has been edited by yoh!!!
