Post Another AA story....

I have 46 positive feedbacks on Ebay, mostly as a seller, on Ebay, and I've had a couple of problems, but I've solved them to the customers satisfaction each time, and I've never solicited, or even asked for feedback
so this is ave maybe a couple of hundred transactions by now. A few weeks ago i won a couple of auctions for some small parts for my teener on Ebay, and I went to the PO and sent off money orders to AA and some other places for the stuff, and my 16.00
" heater update kit" never arrived. This was about 14 days after the auction, no word from AA. Instead of informing me that they
lost or never recieved my 16.00 remittance, they
TORCHED MY PERFECT FEEDBACK WITHOUT WARNING AND I NEVER RECIEVED THE PRODUCT!!
Just read a page of THEIR feedback some time and think twice about bidding your hard-earned cash or risking your feedback on
any on those "treadway@***********" postings!
They also sent me a "dealer-aftermarket-w/ Porsche packaging photo'd" cowl trim piece
that I'm sure they just went out and had made. No such packaging and no part number...ahaaaa!!

Unhappy

I see by your profile that you are relatively new poster....sorry you did not hear about AA and the idiots that work there.

About the only thing we can hope for is that they eventially piss off every 914 owner in the world and they start selling Chevy parts. I avoid ebay and AA like the plague....one of these days in a dark alley my dreams will come true.

bummer...seems a lot of us had to learn about AA the 'hard way'. I had my one and only experience with them back in '99, just a few weeks after I bought my teener.

I've had good success with ebay for the most part, as a buyer and a seller, but you have to be careful...and when you search, try "-treadway" or "-atlanta" as one of the parameters

Cool

Yup, me too.

They advertised a third seat belt for the cushion between the seats. I thought it would be cool to take both of my daughters when I travel. When I recieved it, it was a rusted piece of crap!!

So, being the A-hole that I am, I sent it back to Goergie Porgie and "asked" him if he would put that seat belt in his Porsche? And told him, in my own chioce words of course, to return my money!!!

I later called the local Porsche shop to verify the part No. It turns out that the seat belt was not an optional part.

Old Goerge can rot in hell for all the crap that he's doing!!!!

Ya readin' this one Goergie?

Well, would you believe they ban me from bidding on their stuff on Ebay because....
.... i sent an email arguing about the 900US$ reserve price they asked for their 914/6 oil tank!!!!!!!!!!!

I got an email from them saying that they werent taking me seriously enough. That sole statement explains everything bad said about them....

What jerks! Pelican sells the OEM tank for $646.60 (GPR sells it for $575 BTW).

I see used ones listed fairly often for $250-450.

And based on their track record, the one AA is selling is probably either used, or it's new but "out of stock indefinitely".
