Briefly? OK.

Step 1: Unbolt the whole 914 front suspension.

Step 2: Bolt on the whole 911 front suspension.

You can do the whole thing as a unit, in which case it's about like the above. Or you can do parts of it. The struts (and hub and brakes and such) would be the major things you need. It can be simpler to just replace the A-arms as well than try to separate them from the struts. And so on.

Everything from about 1969 through 1988 (until the introduction of the 964 platform--the "Carrera 4" and "Carrera 2") should bolt in.

True, BUT there is one complication - the sway bar. If you want to use the 911 sway bar you will need the x-member too IIRC, but if you want to retain the SUPERIOR 914 sway bar, you have to drill out the spot welds and remove the 914 u-clamps from the 914 A-arms and weld them onto the 911 A-arms.
Using just 911 the strut assy saves this, but you don't get to choose from all those 911 torsion bars at a the swap meets.

Ooops, we're not briefly anymore.

Yup. Or you can get the "bolt-on" U-tab kit that we sell. (This lets you add the tabs onto the A-arms for a swaybar.)
