Hi & HELP?
I just took the teener down from it's elevated winter rest and have a question/problem with my ride height. I have Bilstein sports that have the lock-ring for adjusting. I figured that compressing the spring and moving the ring up towards the top of the strut would lower the car. It seems to have raised it though?? Before I change it should I give the car a couple days to settle or am I ass backward in my thinking?? I know there are alot of you guys out there with alot of experience with these so please chime in.... AND THANKS! Phil ![]()

You've got it backwards brother. Moving the ring clip up a notch will raise the rear of the car. Moving the ring clip down a notch will lower the rear of the car.

Thanks, bassackwards & all
I wish I could go lower but the spring dosn't seem to be long enough. I't be fine with the car on the ground but looks like it'd come out of it's perch if it got unloaded. Any suggestions? Cheers

Sounds like you are using heavier (shorter) springs than the stock springs. I've heard where some people actually attach the spring to the top perch. I believe they used tie-wraps. The issue you described is probably only apparent when the rear of the car is lifted by a jack. Does your car have a rear sway-bar? If so, I don't think you will have any problems on the road or track even without attaching the spring to the perch.
