Cam Specs
Does anyone have the specifications for a
stock 2.0L Cam? I just purchased a Desktop Dyno ($39.95) for my PC, and it asks for certain numbers that I don't have. I gathered a few of them out of my Haynes Manual, but the rest aren't listed. I still need the Intake Valve Lift (in degrees), the Exhaust Valve Lift (degrees), and the Lobe Center Angle. BTW, it also asks me to enter a CFM rating for the fuel injection system. Any ideas on that one? |

Try the Porsche List at www.porschelist.org. There have been several threads in the past about this topic. You can search for the desired info by key words.

I need this same information for a '73 2.0L.
Wayne, do you have the complete cam specs for this cam and the cfm for the stock fuel injection? There are at least two of us that would appreciate this info. Thankyou. |

Wayne-
I'm the same V8Vector, but had to enter new UserName- long story. Could you post the specs here; I tried to use the Porschelist site, but every time I click on a posting, the BODY section is left blank, and I can't get it to load!? It would be greatly appreciated. BTW, just bought a new starter from you guys, and it works great! Install was a snap, and everything is running smoothly. Thanks! |

Check Jeff Dunning's Secondhand Racing page:
< home.sprintmail.com/~jeffreydunning/shr/ >. I don't know where he got the specs from, but those are what he used. BTW, he says that tech support at the place that wrote DD told him that the "independant runner" setting was appropriate for the D-jet FI on the stock 914. Dunno why... --DD |
