1973 914 1.7 Vacuum Hose specs

Does anyone know of a list of the diameter size and lengths of the vacuum hoses necessary to refit all of them in a 1973 914 1.7. Fuel hoses are done.

I am replacing all the old hoses in my 73 that I pulled out of storage after 25 years. I see one for the 1.8 but the configuration is different.

I don't want to over or under order the necessary lines.

Will buy them from Pelican but want to get it right the first time.

Thanks in advance.

Bill

Additionally, you should have a 13mm hose coming off each cylinder head, going to a merge valve up near the oil filler, then one hose off of that going to the air filter hosuing.

Thanks Jared,

I saw this but my stock setup is not the same. There were more hoses than pictured. Your addendum post cleared that up.

Do you guys have a kit you sell with all the vacuum hoses included or is it "a la carte"?

We don't have a kit for the vacuum lines. Just measure the lengths you need and order. Additionally, I would put hose clamps on all vacuum lines with the exception of the distributor advance/retard and emissions hoses from the head.

One other thing you should really consider changing are the large boots from the intake plenum to the runners. The ones for the 1.7 are NLA, however you can use the 2.0L boots (039-133-241-M21 Qty. 4) with hose clamps. If you can just pull the runner off the plenum with no effort, you need to replace the boot.

At the same time, replace the fuel injector seals. Each injector has two seals. One that secures the injector in the intake runner (311-133-261A-M17 Qty. 4) and a larger seal that backs up against the mounting plate (311-133-263-M21 Qty. 4) Also rteplace the intake runner seals to the head (022-129-707F Qty. 2).
