901 side shifter fork adjustment

On the side shifter tanny, how do you line up the shift forks/shift rods where the side shifter mates? I have read the tech article on the tail shifter and searched to no avail.

Help,
neilca

Haynes has pictures from the factory manuals. I don't recall the exact alignment off the top of my head, but I know Haynes has pictures. There's also Red-Beard's old transmission rebuild article, here:

You also might check on the 914world website; I seem to recall another write-up with pictures in their "classic threads" section.
