Brake Fluid...how much?

I'm rebuilding my calipers after my car was stored for about 10 years and will be changing the brake fluild. How much brake fluid does a 914-4 system hold?
Thanks for your response.

About a one-liter bottle. Probably less, but I always use more to flush the system.

Neat trick, can't recall if I learned here or not, is to use Ate Blue or Gold every other change. So, you start with whatever crud you have and switch to blue. When blue fluid comes out you know you've flushed it. Next time you switch to Gold, and when it changes from Blue to Gold, again you know you've cleared it out. I recall it took less than a quart with a pressure bleeder to change the system, so right in line with what DD is calling for.

Oh yeah, fluid should be changed every 2 years, irrespective of mileage. {That's what is called for in the BMW service schedule, so I just use it for my other cars, too.}
