I owned this car from 1973 to 1977 in Toledo Ohio. It is a 1.7L repainted to Peru Red from Silver. The side markers were removed and the antenna was relocated back to the engine shroud. We painted the rocker panels and spoiler peru red. The driving lights were covered with hand made smoked plexiglass. I would like any information on the car.

Have you talked to Dave Pateman? He's one of the 914 historians that would have the kind of information you seek, but you'll need a vin.

I was too young and stupid when i sold it. The records are long gone. Is there some way to cross reference with the plate number in the picture?

Even if there were, you'd probably need a court order to access the BMV records, and they'd be paper records boxed up in a gov't building basement somewhere. Why was the car in a mall?
