Question: Rubber Grommets for fuel lines in engine compartment, etc.
I am looking for the rubber angled grommets that are found under the battery tray of a 914 which hold the fuel lines steady and from cutting themselves on the metal as they pass through the sub-frame on there way up to meet with the fuel lines that supply the injectors.
Are they still available? If not, what do you/I use now? Also, can we still buy the plastic clips which snap into the firewall and hold the fuel lines as well? Mine are white/clear plastic and are very brittle... I own a 75 914 2.0. Here is a gratuitous pic. Thanks in advance, Bryan

A look through the parts listings shows a number of grommets and holders, but isn't that great at showing exactly which thing goes where.
Two of the grommets are listed as NLA. One is shown as available; follow the link to see info on it. (Supposedly 4 per car; I'm not sure which one it is.) Pelican Parts - Product Information: OEM-99970202950 One of the ignition wire clips can be found here: Pelican Parts - Product Information: 113-905-451-A-OEM One clip is listed as NLA, though. There's an electrical grommet listed, but I can't tell where it goes. Pelican Parts - Product Information: OEM-311971913 I hope this helps. --DD

Dave,
Thanks for the help. I have taken a few pics of the grommets and clips so this may help. Is there a way to have someone verify if these are the same? Or is there a way to verify actual Porsche part #? See pictures below. The picture of the first clip is the one that has the sides broken off. The last one is still intact. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks, Bryan

Some parts have the part number cast into them, which can be read if you look carefully. (Some do not, sad to say.)
The grommet you show is probably the first one I list, but I forget if the part numbers match what Opa Andy listed for you. The link for the spark plug wire clip shows a picture; it looks like the clip is for three wires, not two. So the clip you want may be the NLA one... Try asking on the Word site as well. --DD
