914-6 weber setup

Whats the best way to setup Weber's on a 914-6? Series or Parallel? Single fuel line from the tank or a return line? Pressure from fuel pump? Sorry to just spit some stuff out but these are thoughts running around in my head

Webers

My 2.2 S motor w/webers has one line from a low pressure electric pump (don't use a pump for an EFI system...too much pressure...30+ psi) with an in-line filter and pressure regulator as a precaution to prevent flooding. If I recall correctly it is set at 3 or 4 psi. The single line is split to each bank of carbs and I've never had any flooding or fuel starvation problems. Hope this helps.

I use a Holley red fuel pump with a Holley one-in-two-out fuel pressure regulator.
The regulator is like a tee.

No return line.

Fantastic!

The setup I had was like Trekkor's except I used one of those huge aluminum canned filters from a Porsche 930 just before the regulator. I looped a fuel line between the carbs with a pressure gauge mainly since they came setup that way.

I guess my setup is also similar to those described above. Holley Red pump and big Canton filter up front; metal line through tunnel; AN-6 from firewall to a regulator with gauge. There is also a small inline filter right before the regulator. I use the PMO fuel bars and added the second line between the carbs. No return line to the tank. This has worked very well.
