Stock distributor for carbs confusion
I'm starting to get confused from all the searches.
I have a 1.7 that I Changed to Weber 40IDF. I keep seeing reference to Stock distributor. What is considered stock for carbs. 050,010???? Dave |

"Stock" means "as originally came in the car"--as in, the original distributor that works with the fuel injection system.

That's the correct number for the Mallory distributor.
You'll also want to order the Distributor Advance Kit (29014 I think) for the springs. Mike |
