Dash Swap? Help!

OK.
So, I found and now own a nice dash to replace the cracked up one on my 1972 914.
Can anyone tell me how to take the old one off?

Thanks for whatever help you can offer.

Rob

If you're talking about the "dash cap" (the cover on the edge of the dash, the part that always cracks), there are 10 plastic nuts that hold it onto the metal frame. You'll have to remove the instruments (tach/speedo/combo gauge), pop out the air vents at the ends of the dash, and either remove the glovebox and radio or lie down on your back and search for them.

There's a post around here somewhere that has pictures of all ten locations...
