Anyone In Atlanta

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to purchase a Teener in Atlanta (private owner not AA) and was wondering if someone could give a quick look at if for me. I'm mainly concerned about rust. Owner says it has very little rust (doubtful) but it may be ok for a driver/project. Happy to pay a nominal fee for your time and effort. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply..I would not be there. I would rely on your inspection to make a decision on how much to offer. If at all possible this weekend would be great.

I'm around as well. Do you know what part of town the car is in? Maybe the present owner could meet someplace half way if he's out is some suburb?

If it's not too far, it might be better to see the car in its native habitat though. I can check for massive oil stains in the drive way and maybe jack one side up to get a view of the underside.

I'm no mechanic but I am on my third 914 in the last 15 years.

I looked at several 914s in the Atlanta/Macon area just a few weeks ago and might have already seen the one your thinking about.

Shoot me some type of description and I'll give you my opinion if I've already seen it. I may even have pics already.
