fuzzy strip help
I would like to replace the outer window fuzzy strips on my car but I can't figure out how to remove them. They seem to be attached with screws but the window glass is in the way. Please tell me I don't have to remove the windows to get to them.

Not only do you have to remove the glass nut if you're screws are like my screws were, they are rusted and very stuck. It's not an easy job.
Good luck |

Remove door handles, window crank, latch from inner side of door
Remove door panal (run fingers around edge popping out one clip at a time) Remove 2 screws that hold the black plastic piece that tops the chrome upright window guide. Roll down window till you can access its mount bolts and remove. Pull window out of the top of the door Now you can use the little access holes in the inner door skin to undo the tiny screws that hold on the fuzzy strip. This is not a bad job-good luck! |
