Heat to my feet
I finally reconnected the heater ducts, flapper boxes and control wires and the blower fan in the engine bay.
Now I can get some heat to the screen defrost but no heat to my feet? When I put the fresh air blower on, the lever to control air up and down seems to work as the arrows indicate but it does not work to direct the hot air from the engine to my feet. Is this correct? I think the cabling function for the heater switch boxes must be confused? Does anybody have a plan / description / diagram of how it should be in a 73 - 2.0? Thanks |

Pages 207 and 208 of the Haynes manual gives a pretty good
explanation with diagram. Phil |

So does the 914 FAQ elsewhere on this site.
Briefly, use the red lever on the air controls on the dashboard (the lower lever, I think) to direct the warm air up or down. --DD
