"Up-Fixin' Der Porsche" is a collection of all of the tech articles from the Porshe Club of America's monthly magazine, "Panorama". Lots and lots of info. There are at present nine volumes, all available from PCA.

If you're not a member, join. They don't have as much 914 stuff in the magazines as we would like, but there's still lots of info there.

Warning: Each volume of Up-Fixin' is abouat $15, so it ain't cheap to get the whole set!

Thanks for the info.

A drag coefficient of .363 is pretty good for a car designed in the sixties!

I remember reading in my car magazines back in the early eighties (if I remember it correctly) that at that time the 924 was the most aerodynamic car in the US and it had a cd of .36.

Cd? About .36, but who's gonna care?

Come on, the car looks like a polished box of Kleenex, and is anyone REALLY gonna believe you? I only care that I own one (well, two; a '73 runner and a '74 parting-out), and it's a blast to drive!

Besides, if you add some garbage airdamwingthingygroundeffectwhalespoilers just to improve on that Cd, it'll only make the car look like crap; really.
