East Coast Ramble 2002 announcement
I know some of you are interested, you were just asking yesterday. Whaddaya know, Ralf Hartmann info@myhelpnet.com sends this announcement to the 914 Rennlist e-mail list today!!
Quote:
ITS 2002 ECR TIME AGAIN!!!
Last years ECR was an event enjoyed by all! We had people from Connecticut, Quebec, New York, Maryland, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia. Some of you could not make it, hopefully this year you can and will!
This years organizers - (in a foreign country no less!) are Michel Richard, Sabin Farley and Marc-Andre' Morin - all from Quebec, Canada. The following is a quote from Michel Richard:
"The dates will be July 26 to 28 2002.
There is an autocross on the 28th, that can be attended by those who are interested. It is at Sanair, South of Montreal, so we will find
accomodations that will be closer to the border and will make travelling a little easier for our US friends."
So there you have it! HOT OFF THE CANADIAN PRESS! I know our organizers will put on a great event and for those of you who never traveled in Quebec, you don't know what you are missing. Peggy and I live 26 miles from the border, and we go quite often. Wonderful people, excellent food and lots of open spaces to drive your Porsche. For those interested in a longer stay, you may want to consider visiting QUEBEC CITY. (That's where Marc-Andre' lives). Check out the web sites for it and also MONTREAL. For those traveling from the South (who would not be) you are welcome to stop for the night at our house. see the following 3 links:

If you have any questions so far - please direct them to Michel, Sabin or Marc-Andre'. If you want to be added to the "special" ECR email list - let
me know and I will add your name.
See you all in July
Ralf and Peggy Hartmann
