100mm pistons for a Type 4

Do you know if there is a company manufacturing 100mm pistons and cylinders for a type 4 engine ?

Why, what do you want to do withthe motor?

My 96mm bore with 80mm stroke was making 210 Hp and 195 ft lbs. and rev to 8000 RPM

But how did you solve the stroke related problems ?
I think it is easier and less expensive to use 100mm pistons.
How reliable was your engine ?

I think L&N will make Nickies for you in any size you want. Be prepared to pay.

I don't know of anyone making cast-iron cylinders in 100mm size.

Either way, you will have to machine the case and the heads to accept the cylinders. You don't have to with 96es (except if you have 1.7 heads), because they are the same OD as the stock 93s and 94s.

Dave thanks
I saw that Pelican sells the L&N Pistons and cylinders but the price is not in my budget.
I think I will go with the 96mm.

Go to aircooled technology. or straight to the type IV store.

I bought one of Jakes kits 2316cc .

Motor was strong and still made 26 MPG. I could cruise @ 80 MPH and when I floored it I would have to pick my head up off the head rest.

I have left many a new Mustang owner in the dust thinking his 40,000 dollar car could be a POS.

Very cool to hear about one of Jake's kits in the real world.
A Jake stroker and/or a nickies engine is the best way to go if going over 2056.

10K for a kit is a screaming deal just incase you were wondering. When you figure in exhaust, carbs, ignition, oil cooler and lines. If you were to buy it turn key from Raby you can double that number.

If your transaxle is weak the big 2316 WILL BREAK IT. along with CV's
