Master cylinder supply lines leaking
Installed a new master cylinder with the new rubber plugs that hold the brake lines.
No matter what I do they leak. Anyone ever heard of taping these with threaded Inserts |

The steel lines with flared ends can be very difficult to install, often requiring a twisting motion in addition to downward pressure. It also helps to have some type of brake part lubricant, such as brake caliper assembly paste that's used on caliper piston o-rings. Apply the lube to the flares, don't worry, if you have the correct stuff it will be compatible with brake fluid. If you have an Auto Zone near you they should have what you need.
BTW; you can actually feel when the lines seat, and if you push up gently they will move the rubber, but not come back out. I've seen them fit so tight that I've used a pliers to hold the line, and apply pressure to the pliers using a long screwdriver/pry bar in order to get them to pop into place.
