2.0 litre camshaft

Machine shop notified me that the cam in my 73 2.0 litre (F.I.) is worn and should be replaced. Question??? What is the part number for this cam?? The numbers are not visible on my cam or timing gear. Also, are all 914 cams the same , and differ only by the timing gear itself???

All the stock ones are the same. The original ones had small differences, and I think the Bus ones also had some small differences, but the "different" ones went NLA a good while back.

Get a Web-Cam stock grind, and get their lifters. They seem to last longer than anybody else's, at least according to the guys on the Shoptalk Forums BBS.
