Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

Yeh, I noticed that too. Wonder if it's a domain name renewal issue...

Network Solutions says it is expired. Don't know if Andy uses them, but they usually send out notices before it expires. Someone changed the DNS points .... as much as 72 hours to change it back (unless NetSol likes you).

Not good.

Hate it when this happens and the big issue is that the domain name lurkers aren't much fun when it comes to getting your domain back.

No fun.

I thought we went through this last year? And it was some sort of administrative foul-up on the registrar's end of things...

I am going to go out on a limb here and say it is probably the same thing. I seriously doubt Andy would let it expire.

Not hacked, expired. I'm still seeing the Network Solutions page at the time of this post. Whether you can see it or not depends on DNS propagation in relation to your geographic location. Wishing I had the IP address so I could set up a local host record and get my fix!

Try a SHIFT (or CTRL) refresh. Sometimes that'll clear the old pages from your browser cache.

Not sure if the IP will work since the board software uses the domain name for the dynamic links, but here it is anyways:

66.250.97.3

You're right, host entry 66.250.97.3 914world.com got me to the home page, but the links don't work after that. Tried the forced browser refreshes and flushing dns.

I'll be patient. When we temporarily lose access it just serves as a reminder to how much we appreciate the world.
