Cool Tilt wheel steering for a 914

Doing a ground up rebuild and want to put in a tilt steering wheel. I love my 914, but being 6' tall can be a pain if you have a lot of in and out of the cars stops. My question is has anyone done this or seen on done. I have a tilt steering column from an older model Oldsmobile that is about the same dia. I believe it can be done with some ingenuity and having a ground up build allows me the freedom to change anything I have to to make it work. Just wanted to see if there is any words of wisdom, or ideas out there.

Thanks

Maybe try a smaller steering wheel? I am 6'2" and have no issues getting in and out with my 300mm wheel.

Smaller wheel

I have a smaller wheel on there now, but would really like a tilt wheel.

I don't know of any that have been done yet. Sounds like an interesting project; let us know how it goes!

A Flat bottom wheel, I'm 6' & 230lbs and have small Momo in my 76, no issues, for my GT Clone, which I plan of adding a GT 1/2 cage, I have a quick release hub for.
